Yoga Sleep Therapy®
12-2pm iRest® Yoga Nidra Teaching Tools
Whether you’re a yoga instructor, clinician, artist, parent or loving friend, learning to give the gift of yoga nidra to others is one of the greatest gifts that you can give to yourself.
This special workshop will introduce the foundations of iRest®, a profound meditative practice derived from the ancient tantric yoga tradition, and will provide you with an opportunity to give and receive yoga nidra in a safe space. Whether you’re a curious beginner or a long-time teacher/practitioner, deepen your understanding of subtle energies, learn to transmute difficult emotions and limiting beliefs, and explore the process of guiding yourself and others toward the healing potential that is inherently present and perfect in every moment.
*No prior yoga experience is necessary, though seasoned yogis, instructors, therapists, dreamers and creative-types are encouraged to attend. Bring an eye-pillow if you have one. It is highly recommended that students attend both workshops in an effort to integrate theory with direct experience.
4-6:30pm Yoga Sleep Therapy®: The Art of Yoga Nidra
It’s no secret that healthy sleep is crucial to maintaining well-being, fostering creativity and staying inspired, yet an estimated 60 million Americans suffer from insomnia. Rather than reaching for the pills, why not turn to the natural, holistic approach to de-stressing and healing our relationship with sleep for good.
Join Nick for this groundbreaking, multidimensional cleansing experience combining movement, chanting, breath awareness, guided relaxation and iRest® yoga nidra to help unwind, fall asleep and sleep soundly through the night. Learn practical routines to create long lasting peace, quiet the mind, relieve tension and refresh the body.
*No prior yoga experience is necessary, though seasoned yogis, instructors, therapists, dreamers and creative-types are encouraged to attend. Bring an eye-pillow if you have one.
