Learn to relax deeply in this 4-week restorative series. In each session you are guided through a specific sequence of poses targeted to unwind the body, quiet the mind and cultivate one’s own internal healing system. Restorative yoga uses the tools of practice; blankets, bolsters, blocks and breath to gently support the body and allow a deep level of tension to release through the physical, mental and emotional layers of the body. After practice, notice how steady you feel, how relaxed and present you are.
Tension is who you think you should be. Relaxation is who you are.

Ellen is an Anusara-Inspired and Restorative yoga teacher. Having left behind a mentally consuming fast paced Wall Street career for the delights of down dog she found self-acceptance on the mat. In her classes the challenge is more about holding space for emotions and letting go the chatter of judgments in the mind. With a sweet mix of movement, breath and stillness students discover layers of tension and begin the process of letting it go and empowering their daily lives. Come find your edge whether in a flow or restorative class and discover your unique gifts.
Cost: $30 (or 2 classes from a 10/20 class series)
