Is Pigeon pose a pain in the butt? Have you ever had pain that travels down your leg from the lower back? Or do you just want to learn more about the all powerful core of the body? A healthy happy body moves from the center rather than the extremities and releasing long held tension and trauma is an incredible way to learn how to access your core.
In this Pirifomis/Sciatica Release Party! students will learn the anatomy of the pelvis and the muscles and nerves that connect the legs to the spine. After the learning comes the release and you will leave both relaxed and better informed.

Jonathan FitzGordon began practicing yoga at Jivamukti in 1995 and started teaching in 2000 after receiving his certification from Om Yoga Center. After studying extensively with John Friend, he owned and operated the yoga center of Brooklyn until the fall of 2009 and is now happy to be joining the staff at Prema. Jonathan’s classes are imbued with the love of anatomy and the moving body. He is the creator of the FitzGordon Method Core Walking program that has been featured in the New York Times and on Good Morning America.
