Core Strength for Athletes
Wednesday, September 19, 6:15-8:15pm
These sessions will address the fundamental musculoskeletal issues that influence athletic performance. Instead of strengthening muscles that are already strong, we will focus on strengthening muscles that are under-activated (weak or not fully functional), thereby creating improved proprioception, stability, strength, suppleness, and movement patterns. Students will learn to analyze posture, modify poses, and provide hands-on feedback in order to transform the physical structure of the body.
Class is limited to 6 students
